2025: The Year of the Divine Feminine

In spiritual circles, the rise of the Divine Feminine has been muttered for years, but astrologers and numerologists largely agree 2025 is the Year of the Divine Feminine. Because of this, some say the world is shifting from a lengthy focus on masculine priorities (money, power, success) to a more community-based approach to living where people work together to survive and thrive.

The concept of a divine feminine and divine masculine is rooted in ancient philosophies, including Chinese philosophy, Greek mythology, Taoist philosophy and Hindu tradition. These traditions emphasize the importance of balancing masculine and feminine energies, which is believed to be essential for spiritual growth and wellbeing.

Divine Feminine/Divine Masculine Defined

First, it is important to note that the Divine Feminine is in all of us regardless of sex, as is the Divine Masculine.

The Divine Feminine embodies the qualities traditionally associated with femininity: intuition, creativity and nurturing. It encourages introspection and emotional presence, reminding individuals to connect with their inner self.

By contrast, the Divine Masculine embodies the qualities traditionally associated with masculinity: rationality, action and leadership. The working world in Western culture is a masculine construct – structured, competitive, hierarchical. Because today’s women usually work outside the home, we spend a lot of our time in masculine mode. Sometimes, the feminine energy falls by the wayside.

Why the rise of the Divine Feminine in 2025?

The year 2025 is a “Year 9” in numerology, which makes it a powerful year of completion, release and karmic reckoning.

This cycle is expected to bring an era of unprecedented female empowerment, where women worldwide wake up to their own power; stop apologizing and start manifesting their wildest dreams, while turning the tables on old patterns.

“The Divine Feminine represents qualities like intuition, creativity, compassion and empowerment,” says Sam Patrick author of 2025: The Year the Divine Feminine Rises (And Men Have No Idea What’s Coming). For far too long, these values have been sidelined in favor of “traditional” power structures.”

Coming into balance and living in harmony can only happen if women reclaim their rightful space, Patrick says. Whether men or ready for it or not, women will start doing that this year.
